Vmware + Oskit

Hello !
I'm using Vmware 3.00 to have a virtual machine in which testing some
kernels developed with the OSkit.
I'm using GRUB to boot the kernels via tftp from my real machine (Linux
Mandrake 8.0)
Now, the problem: while the example Oskit kernels (i.e. hello ) work if I
boot them from the virtual hard disk, the VM hangs up after the command
kernel  /hello
(before booting)

I've tried to boot a linux kernel via tftp and it works.

Does anyone know what's the matter ?
