I have downloaded the source code for version 0.99.7 and
compiled it with Visual C++ 4.2 and BoundsChecker 4.0 and
got some messages which may also be interesting for you as
developers. The source files and the messages are:

         wvart.c(1750):      Cast of pointer loses precision: (WORD) 
                             GetMenu(hWnd)
(JD fixed) wvcoding.c(1382): Function DecodeLine has an inconsistent 
                             return type.  Returns value in one location, 
                             but control flows off end.
(JD fixed) wvcoding.c(1458): Too many arguments to sprintf.
(JD noerr) wvcoding.c(2026): Function ReadSubjectToken has an inconsistent 
                             return type.  Returns value in one location, 
                             but control flows off end.
(JD fixed) wvcoding.c(2373): Wrong type passed to sscanf (argument 5).
                             Expected char *, found float *.
(JD fixed) wvcoding.c(2373): Not enough args for sscanf.
(JD fixed) wvcompos.c(723):  Function ChangeShowHeaderControls has an 
                             inconsistent return type. Returns value in one 
                             location, but control flows off end.

                              type.  Returns value in one location, but 
                              control flows off end.
(JD noerr) wvtxtblk.c(170):   Function IncreaseTextSize has an inconsistent 
                              return type.  Returns value in one location, but 
                              control flows off end.
(JD fixed) wvutil.cpp(1082): Too many arguments to sscanf.
