I've posted 3 trivial patches for the diskpart library at

The first adds a check for partition id 15, which is for extended
partitions with lba bios addressing.  The second increases to 16 the
number of (BSD) partitions in a disklabel, which seems to be the
maximum supported by recent NetBSD (and maybe FreeBSD) kernels.  The
third adds support for partition id 169, which is the id used by
NetBSD these days.

Anyhow, these are completely trivial modifications, but maybe they'll
save somebody some head-scratching....
