ablout blk_devices

dear sir:
i write a kernel but it died when starting devices.
the first lines of main() is:
   oskit_clientos_init_pthreads();
   start_clock();
   start_pthreads();
   start_blk_devices();
but it seems my kernel stoped when it runing start_blk_devices();
it shows
  hda:wdc wd300bb-00a0a1..........
do you kown what is wrong with it? thanks.
