booting/raw bios code?

	is there currently any way to boot an oskit kernel directly from
the boot sector - instead of through a multi-boot boot loader?
	
	also, is the source for raw bios startup currently in CVS? is
there any way i could get a hold of it if it's not?

	are the primitives/functions in libkern.a that
provide for bootstrapping responsible for certain dependencies with the
rest of the library? what are these dependencies: ie, what should a chunk
of boot loader code do to be used with the os-kit?
