mkimage.sh (CVS 20000904) problem

This file uses "find -L" on lines 182 and 189. -L is not a legal predicate on 
any of the platforms I am familiar with (linux, alphs, sparc). With -L in, it 
would not even include java.lang.Object --- what is this -L supposed to do ? 
(I have tried removing it all together and it works, well almost).
