The linux drivers do have a limit, but I think the number is 8 for the
tulip and 16 for de4x5. We routinely run the oskit on machines with
5 eepro100 cards, so I don't think there is anything in the oskit that
prevents this.

It would be helpful if you told us what version of the oskit, and sent us
the output from your kernel booting up.
