If you look closely, you'll notice that I've already included a
`configure.in' patch that looks for `objcopy' (and uses `true' if
`objcopy' isn't found).  (I just submitted a patch to the
`autoconf'-generated `configure' as well because it is included in the
release tarball.)

Why?

But making it configurable is a good idea, IMO.
