Getting the oskit 0.97 unix user-mode code to run on Linux is
straightforward but not trivial. However, you won't have to fix it
since the last snapshot of the oskit includes the changes necessary to
run on Linux! You can find the snapshot at:

We added a new section to the documentation about this. Look at
doc/unix-support.tex in the snapshot, hopefully it will be able to
answer some of your questions.
