Problems with linux

Hi all,

I built OSKit 0.96 under Red Hat 5.2 linux and, with the exception of a
few warnings, it built fine.  I then converted the example hello kernel
using the linux conversion utility, copied the resulting zImage file and
created a lilo entry to boot it.  When I rebooted, the machine just
locked.

I haven't tried troubleshooting it yet but before I do, a question: are
there any known linux and/or gcc problems that I should look for?

I'm also running a Cyrix chip.  Any processor issues to look for?
