3-D Cannon

3-D Cannon is a shareware game that uses 3-D polygon graphics with
texture mapping. Two players command stationary tank-like weapons that
sit on a fractal mountain and take turns shooting at each other. When
players shoot at each other the camera follows the bullet as it flies
through the air.

Keywords: AMBROSIA ARCADE FUN ACTION ANDREW WELCH GAME SHAREWARE

"OK Mr. Fishy, your days of suavely swishing around the fish bowl are
numbered! That's it... come here... just a little more... SQUISH!!
Haha! Eat seaweed fish-breath!" -- Blinky the teenage mutant goldfish.

Welcome to Bubble Trouble folks, the latest game from Ambrosia in which
cutthroat fishies are playing hardball in a squabble over some very wet
turf. Think of it as splatball for insufferably cute seafaring critters
(hey, they need their fun too).

Bubble Trouble's world is filled with lusciously-drawn cartoony critters
who give that cranky crab from "The Little Mermaid" a run for his money.
But money isn't what you'll be running from: an otherwise peaceful fish
bowl has been filled with bubbles that are being tossed around in an
enthralling game of "Squish the Fish!"

Yes, it's squish or be squished -- and there are plenty of would-be
squishers just waiting for you to get your feet wet: Piranha and
starfish and eels, oh my! But don't worry little fishy, there are
plenty of power-ups and goodies you can hook your fin onto to give you a
bit of an edge.

Bubble Trouble is sure to extort squeals of delight from children of all
ages, accented by the game's engaging sound effects and disturbingly
perky music. But when the clock strikes midnight, remember: "Just one
more game."

Bubble Trouble is the proud offspring of two guys with funny accents
(David Wareing and Alex Metcalf). Granted, when two guys get together,
the result usually ends up being football, crude jokes, and awkward
scratching -- but not this time!

Price: $15.00 Requires: 256 Color Screen, 13" or Greater; 040 or PowerPC
recommended

calculations and converts integer values to different bases (decimal,
hexadecimal, binary, octal or any custom base between 2 and 32) or to an OSType

This is the Japanese version of the CopyPaste package.

One of the early wonders of the Mac was its revolutionary ability to do
copy and paste across various applications. Unlike other areas in the
Mac's system software that have changed and progressed over the years,
copying and pasting has not evolved. How many times have you found
yourself going back and forth copying in one application and pasting in
a different application, wishing to yourself that you could copy 5-10
items at a time, then go to another application and paste each of these
items. Now you can with a vengence!

CopyPaste magnifies the clipboard in different ways. We call these:

This is the Japanese version of the Go HTML package.

GoHTML is a very small extension (15K) for use with Netscape's Navigator
or Microsoft's Internet Explorer. GoHTML adds an editor menu to your Web
browser, allowing you to switch back to your editor of choice with a
command-key shortcut.

GoHTML adds an icon menu to the browser's menubar. The icon represents
your preferred HTML Editor. You can now switch to your HTML Editor with
a keyboard shortcut (Command-E). With this new command you can now
switch back to your editor fast after you have previewed your HTML
source.

Look up HTML tags with the HTML Reference command. Check the latest news
about your HTML Editor by going to its Home Page. And when you have
finished your HTML editing and preview choose Quit Browser and Editor to
conveniently quit both applications or choose Shutdown if you are
completely ready. Use the Set Editor command to set your preferred HTML
Editor.

GoHTML supplies the icons and Home Page URLs for BBEdit, PageMill,
Claris Home Page, PageSpinner, GoLive, Tango, CodeWarrior, and MCF
Generator.

Finder and all icon archives created by other icon utilities. Drag & Drop is
fully supported, so you can create or stick custom icons by simply dragging them
around. All icons are compressed on the fly to save memory and disk space, and
archives can contain a very large number of icons (unlike all other icon
utilities which are limited to a few hundreds). Advanced features include

You can download some other shareware of mine from the Net:

contains twenty new schemes for use with Kaleidoscope 1.5.

- David's Kaleidoscope Patterned Schemes Collection (Info-Mac directory

use of patterns. Requires Kaleidoscope 1.5.

- Software & Hardware Tracker (Info-Mac directory and reference

will help you collect, store and organize useful information (such as
registration codes, serial numbers, product notes, useful adresses as
well as phone/fax numbers and URLs for software authors, companies and
distributors, etc.) about all your computer products. Even better, you
can launch URLs directly from inside the database, which will then call
upon the Internet Config system to open them with the proper helper
applications.

The latest versions of my shareware will always be made available on the
Info-Mac and Umich sites and mirrors, on AMUG and on DOWNLOAD.COM. You
can find links to those sites on my home page located at
<http://www.eleves.ens.fr:8080/home/daix/index.html>.

You can also go to DOWNLOAD.COM <http://www.download.com> and launch a
"Power search" <http://www.download.com/Mac/Search/Power/> for my name
(just enter "Daix" in the "publisher/author" field). That will bring up
an up-to-date list of my programs.

Thanks for supporting the shareware system!

anything you drop on it. You can format the text in many ways and set up file
filters to look for specific files. You may create different worksets that
can be
recalled either from a menu or by holding down some keys when you drop things on
List Files' icon, so you can switch between cataloging your floppies and
searching for big text files in a flash. List Files can save your catalogs

This is the latest {May 1, 1997} version this report and should replace
the previous version of mac-ftp-list.txt.

This is a update {May 1, 1997} to Mike Gleason and Bruce Grubb's Mac FTP
list. It lists over 200 mac anonymous ftp sites (some with notes), over
75 Mac web pages, contains some instructions on how to use anonymous ftp
and find files as well a format chart showing which programs decompress
and decode which files and a section on how to use certain decoded
files. This archive contains both the text and html versions.

Please note that the html part is actually four crosslinked files:
mac-ftp-list.html, ftp-list.html, www-section.html, and site-notes.html
that require HTML Browser such as Lynx, Mosaic or NetScape to view.

Must be in a monospaced font to be readable; Courier 10pt is
recommended, though Monaco 9pt or a PC equivalent can be used instead.
Needs StuffIt Expander or equivalent {unsitins.exe} to decompress.

slave a synth, sending on the midi channel of your choice. It's great
for those times when you don't want to fire up a major memory eating
sequencing program to use as a midi thru or when you want to write
lyrics in your word processor and don't have enough memory left to fire
up your memory hogging midi sequencer or if you just want to jam on that

Description: The NDS Osax is a small set of the many NetWare 4.1 NetWare

Uses: Use these in a personal login script to log you in to NDS & mount some

Requested Icons!

My apologies to all my friends on Evangelist - I didn't do the anti
Microsloth images I promised. Maybe next time. I'm just not the kinda
person to hold a grudge. I'm sure Bill G. will be calling me any day now
to apologize for what Internet Exploder did to my internet

For those of you unfamiliar with the Select*Icons Series, you are in for
a real treat! These are real masterpieces of icon design (if I DO say
so, myself). Of course, like all icons in the Select* series, they do
some interesting things when you select them.

Select*Icons are all lovingly hand crafted by PixelMaster, Jason
Rainbows. The most unique and strikingly beautiful icons available
anywhere, each an individual jewel of icon design.

Please enjoy them for their artistic value, and don't foist animosity
upon me for some of the subjects included. Remember, these are what YOU
- the general public - requested and I am, after all, your humble

Have a good time and try not to hurt anybody with

Subject: [*] SmartScroll 2.0.3J - Japanese Version

This is the Japanese version of the SmartScroll package.

Smart Scroll enhances regular scroll bars so they show how much of a
document is displayed in a window. The indicator tab in scroll bars
becomes proportional : If a window is displaying half of a document,
the tab will be half the scrollbar size.

This gives you an idea of how large the document is, without having to
scroll the window to find out. Try it for yourself, it speeds browsing
the Net or going through your email, for example.

Smart Scroll also adds Active Scrolling, which updates the display as
you drag the scrollbar tab. Just release the tab when you see the part
of the document you want: no more guessing where you'll end up!

All scrollbars benefit from these improvements, even those hidden in
Open and Save dialogs. After a few days of Smart Scroll, going back to
regular scroll feels like something is missing !

(Uniform Resource Locators).

URL Manager allows you to organize and collect URLs in a hierarchical
structure. Organizing bookmarks between and within folders is easy with
Drag & Drop.

Drop TEXT and HTML files to scan for URLs.

To save a URL in the repository, you can Drag & Drop hypertext links
from a Web page to the URL Manager window.

To access a URL on the Web, you drag a bookmark to the window of a Web
browser. Alternatively, you can choose the menu command Open in Helper
Application on selection of bookmarks. The URL Manager will then send
the URLs (using Apple Events) to the preferred Helper application.

URL Manager distinguishes between Hypertext links, FTP servers, E-Mail
addresses, Gophers, Finger, Telnet and Newsgroups and shows these URLs
with different icons.

Save your often used queries.

Sort your bookmarks by name, URL address and color.

You can use the Find menu command to search for URLs in your repository.
Search the Internet using the Explore menu with Alta Vista, WebCrawler,
Lycos, Yahoo and others.

Imports existing Netscape Navigator, Anarchie and Fetch bookmarks.

Exports bookmarks to HTML. In this way you can publish your favorite

There is a version 2 of the old MacWeb, no longer associated with EINet;
it's now associated with TradeWave. Use a web search tool to find it
(sorry, I can't recall the URL). It's not perfect, but it's better than
