Subject: [*] CD-Sunrise 2.2c - CD-ROM driver for ANY SCSI CD-ROM drive

CD-Sunrise is CD-ROM driver for ANY SCSI CD-ROM drive. CD-Sunrise allows your
Mac to use ANY CD-ROM drives. To install CD-Sunrise just drag and drop on
System Folder and restart your Mac. CD-Sunrise searches SCSI device ID
>From 6 to 1. If you are going to use with other CD-ROM device, CD-Sunrise
will be loaded for biggest SCSI ID drive.
CD-Sunrise works any Macintosh. I've never heard any problem regarding some
mismatch with Mac/OS. But there is possibility that CD-Sunrise doesn't work
with some knid of CD-ROM drives; for example, juke-box type, don't support
basic SCSI command to work only with their driver, etc.
CD-Sunrise is very famous in Japan. Almost 10,000 people downloaded this
driver.
I tested following CD-ROM drives using CD-Sunrise. It worked fine.

Subject: [*] Countries & Capitals v0.9

When the Countries and Capitals stack opens up, it will display a list of
all the
different regions of the world that are availiable to you. All you have to
do is
click on one buttons and you're there!

Countries and Capitals is a program that keeps your geographical skills sharp.
It is fairly simple to use. All you have to do is put your cursor over a
question mark. This will display the name of the country that your cursor is
over. Now all you have to do is just think in your mind what the capital
of that
country is. When you have thought of it, you just have to click the mouse and
that will display the capital of that country. It is that simple. If you get
stuck, there is online help to get you through it. Just look under the
"Regions"
menu.

Currently the North American region is the only region avaliable to you at this
point. It is recommended that you please send in your shareware fee of $15.
When I get your money, I will send you the full version of Countries and
Capitals. This will include all of the other regions of the world. Remember,
YOU make Shareware work, without YOUR support, QUALITY Shareware will cease to
exist. Please Support Shareware.

Subject: [*] Deco 1.0.1

Based on a strikingly original game concept, Deco is not like any game you've
played before. Similar to Tetris in some respects, Deco offers far more
strategic "depth" than that game. In Deco you drop thin, rectangular,
multicolored pieces onto a square board. The board, along with the pieces
you've dropped so far, can be rotated 90 degrees. By dropping pieces onto a
rotated board, you can make pieces cross each other. The goal is to make
pieces of the same color cross, and avoid crossing pieces of different color.
Deco is very simple, and takes about a minute to learn.

But Deco is also very complex. Unlike most games of the Tetris genre, which
essentially begin and end with your reaction time, Deco rewards as much
analytical thinking as you care to apply. As you play, you will develop a
variety of strategies to increase your scores. You'll find yourself thinking
about Deco even when you're NOT playing. Because of this rich complexity,
you'll continue to get better at Deco, continue to get higher and higher
scores, and continue to discover new things about it, for a very long time.
So the game will stay fresh and interesting and rewarding for a very long
time.

Deco can be set to four increasingly difficult variations on the game. The
easier levels will be suitable for young players and beginners, and the more
difficult levels will keep the game challenging as you get better at it.
Additionally, Deco can be played on two different size boards, so you can
play a quick game or a more complex and lengthy one. Deco features a
sophisticated background music option which plays a selection of Ragtime and
early Jazz piano pieces.

The full instructions to Deco are available within the game, under the Apple
menu.

Requires: System 7.0 or later, 256 or 16 colors, any size monitor, LC or
better Mac, 2000K free RAM. Background music requires QuickTime 2.0 or later.

Shareware; $15.00

Subject: [*] Diet Master 2.0.2

This version provides several new features. A Recommended Daily
Allowance calculator, a HELP page, and a REMOVE FOOD mechanism. The RDA
calculator of course calculates
the RDA for various nutrients. The help page has a key for the
abreviations found in the food database as well as a Program Guide. The
Remove Food mechanism provides a way to remove foods from the daily
intake list that have been added in error. The main screen color has
been changed to make it easier to view.

My goal in creating this program was to provide quality software at a
good price. Without a doubt, this goal has been accompolished. Most of
the nutrition programs available either do not have a database as
extensive or they are well above $100 in price. Register and you will
recieve a quality product and excellent customer service.

Diet Master 2.0 has a database of over 5,000 foods. It will analyze your
intake of 19 different nutrients fat, carbohydrates, protein,
alcohol,fiber,cholesterol, saturated fat, monounsaturated fat,
polyunsaturated fat, calcium, phosphorous, iron, sodium, potassium,
Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, and total daily
calories. Use it to plan the days diet or analyze foods already eaten.

Other features

* Pie chart breakdown of Macro nutrients
* Create a custom food list that contains foods that you eat most often.
* Easily add additional foods to the food database.
* Quickly navagate through our extensive food database
* Print and save nutritional analysis.
* Register and we will send you "The Metabolizer" a unique program that
calculates the number of calories you burn per day. It will also tell
you how many calories you need to eat daily to reach a certain body
weight in a specified period of time.

Enjoy!

Fixes--A problem with the Add Food function was corrected.

Subject: [*] eScan - First Release

Overview
++++++++
eScan is a Macintosh utility that provides facilities for the scanning of email
messages, and the recognition, extraction and processing of embedded electronic
form data. This is achieved by the provision of a software interface between
the
database product FileMaker Pro and the email program Eudora. The package
has been
especially oriented for use with web forms.

eScan will either scan email messages on command or when informed of the
arrival
of new mail by Eudora. Any Eudora mailbox may be specified and a choice made
whether to scan read or unread mail. For each email message that eScan reads,
it
determines if it contains embedded form data. If it does, then information
about
the message is extracted, either from the body of the email message or from an
attached document, and a list of 'found' messages constructed. These listed
messages may then be displayed, printed, transferred or processed.

The processing of a form firstly involves the extraction of the data
contained in
the form, (if the data is in 'mailto' format ie. url encoded, then it is
firstly
decoded). If a FileMaker Pro database has been specified for the form, then the
extracted data may be written to that file or used to extract data from an
existing database record. If a template email reply has been defined, then the
template is merged with aspects of the extracted data to generate a customised
reply. Reply messages may also, optionally contain outgoing attachments.

Requirements
++++++++++++
The following environment is required by eScan -
a) System version 7.5 or later.
b) The scriptable Finder (as supplied with System 7.5 onwards).

Helper Applications
+++++++++++++++++++
eScan uses the following products -
a) Eudora Light, version 1.5.1 onwards.
b) Eudora Pro, all versions.
c) FileMaker Pro, version 2.1 onwards.

Subject: [*] Midi Delay 2.5.6 fat-A Realtime Midi Effects Application

Midi Delay does many of the same things as a hardware digital delay
and more...The programs uses hardware digital delay terminology making
it very intuitive to use for most electronic musicians. In this Demo
version of Midi Delay the user gets five seconds of delay time, and ten
repeats (feedback) on the main delay and two multitap delay sections
that allows five seconds of delay time on each tap and the ability to
send the taps on different midi channels and/or to different midi
instruments. The multitap section can be fed to the main delay for
further processing and cool looping effects. Midi delay supports
Apple's Quicktime Musical Instruments v2.0 and higher as an output
source.

Requirements - Midi Delay requires a Mac II(xx) or greater running System
7.0 and
up with 8 megabytes of ram. Midi Delay is now a Fat Binary, which means it
will
run in the fast native mode on power macs. A 14 inch monitor or larger is
recommended, but not required. A midi sound module and midi controller are also
required as well as a midi interface to connect the controller/module to the
computer. (midi interface, midi controller and sound module may be the same
device or in the form of computer software) Midi Delay also requires Opcode's
OMS v1.2.3 or higher or Apple's Midi Manager v2.0.1 or higher. These software
packages can be obtained from the following places:

OMS v1.2.3 and v2.1 Download (FREE) from: WWW.OPCODE.COM on the OMS
homepage

Midi Manager 2.0.2 Download (FREE) from: FTP.SUPPORT.APPLE.COM in the
directory: /PUB/APPLE_SW_UPDATES/US/MACINTOSH/UNSUPPORTED/

Using OMS 2.1 with Midi Delay will produce the best results and
allow you to use all of Midi Delay's features with a minimum of effort.

Subject: [*] Midi Thru 1.5 fat - A Software Midi Thru Box

Midi Thru is for use with either OMS or Midi Manager. If you don't know
what these are, then you don't need Midi Thru. Midi Thru simply
connects a controller synth to a slave synth. Midi Thru allows you to
slave a synth, sending on the midi channel of your choice. It's great
for those times when you don't want to fire up a major memory eating
sequencing program to use as a midi thru or when you want to write
lyrics in your word processor and don't have enough memory left to fire
up your memory hogging midi sequencer or if you just want to jam on that
favorite synth module. Its a simple program that does one thing and one
thing well. It's a Midi Thru !!!! Midi Thru works on any mac running
sys 7.0 and up with at least 1.5 meg of free ram. Midi Delay is now a
Fat Binary, which means it will run in the fast native mode on power
macs.

Best of all Midi Thru is absolutely free of charge. Yes, thats no

SafeAlert is a set of routines that is meant to reduce the worry involved
in attempting to display modal alerts while your application is in the

CautionAlert, you can use calls to SafeAlert.

SafeAlert automatically determines whether your application is in the

programmer-settable) information can do one or all of the following:
o Display a Notification Manager notice if you are not the foreground
       application
o Display a blinking icon of your application in the application menu
o Display a diamond next to your application

Subject: [*] Screening Room v1.2.6 (FAT)

This is the latest version of Screening Room.

Screening Room is a video screensaver package that will allow you to use
any set of QuickTime movies as your screensaver. It was designed so that
movies on the multimedia tracks of the new E-CD's, or Enhanced-CD's being
released by record companies could be used as screensavers.

It is a control panel/extension combination that installs onto your boot
drive. Its is a fully functional copy, but at the end of a 30 day period
the program will no longer function unless you supply an activation code.
To receive an activation code you must register the program. I hope you
will like it, and register it.

Subject: [*] Snapz Pro

Keywords: SNAPZ PRO SCREEN CAPTURE SHOT CONTROL PANEL AMBROSIA

Snapz Pro allows you to quickly and easily capture any portion of your
screen to disk as an editable image file. A single keystroke brings up
the Snapz Pro palette, which allows you to capture, trim, crop, scale,
and dither any portion of your screen in the blink of an eye.

Simply click on a monitor, window, or menu and Snapz Pro will
automatically isolate, trim, and crop it -- no more tedious pixel editing
to prepare your screen captures for publication. Snapz Pro also allows
you to use a free-form selection to grab whatever portion of the screen
you wish, for maximum flexibility.

Any image you capture can be scaled anywhere from 10% all the way up to
400%, as well as dithered to a wide range of color palettes. Snapz Pro
offers over a dozen different PICT file types to choose from, so the
captured image is immediately ready to be edited in your program of
choice.

To save you time, Snapz Pro helps organize your screen captures by
storing them in a special Screen Snapz folder, which is easily accessible
>From the Apple menu. Snapz Pro also allows you to create project
folders, to logically group your screen captures, keeping them organized
and easily reached. No more searching through your hard drive for lost
images.

Snapz Pro trounces existing screen capture programs -- both commercial
and shareware -- in terms of its feature set, ease of use, reliability,
and its ability to capture the screen at virtually any time. It's also
less expensive and well supported; good for you, bad for the competition.

As you'd expect from Ambrosia, Snapz Pro is robust, 100% PowerPC native,
fast, easy to use, and efficient.  It doesn't get much better than this;
Snapz Pro is your total screen capture solution.

   Price: $20.00
Requires: Any Color-Capable Macintosh, System 7 or later

Subject: [*] Speech Writer v1.0.0b2

Speech Writer is a new and innovative use of Apple's Speech Recognition
technology. Up to now, Apple's Speech Recognition technology has been
used just to make commands. While this has been useful, it does very
little to help users to get data into their computer. Speech Writer has
been written to solve that problem by typing any predefined phrase into
any application you may be using. While Speech Writer does not make your
Mac a full fledged dictation machine, it does allow you to "type"
commonly used words and phrases just by saying them. Speech Writer works
in any application and is application based - no INIT conflicts!

Note: This is a beta release of Speech Writer. The application included
in this archive is fully functional, but the documentation is a little
lacking right now. I intend to write more thorough documentation for the
final release.

Speech Writer is a Power PC only application and requires the Speech
Recognition Manager extension v1.5 or later.

Vist the Speech Writer page for more information:

restarting when using Kaleidoscope 1.0. This set contains two
different sized splash screens for each of the official Colour Schemes

These screens will look more authentic when installed into your system
