Subject: .mov files into imovie

My still digital camera takes short video clips as well and I can save them
as .mov files on my G4 733. I would like to work with them on imovie but
can't even see them when I try to open them in imovie. Does anyone know how
I can work on these files in imovie?
Thanks!

I don't know about video-to-firewire, but there is a very slick video-to-USB
device: The InterView device from XLR8 <http://www.xlr8.com/>. Includes
Strata Video Shop and QuickTime Pro. List price (US): $79.95.
