describes the application of the Actalk architecture to the prototyping and customization of various OOCP synchronization schemes. This paper describes a progressive example of refinement of synchronization schemes. We start with the implementation of two foundational synchronization schemes (namely enabled sets and guards) and through successive refinements and combinations, we obtain increasingly expressive schemes.
